A gentleman purchased a uniform for a WWII display, these photos came with it. We know that his name is William R. Pemberton, he was in 6 campaigns, he had a combat infantry badge and the Meritorious unit citation.

We think that he was in the 179th Infantry Regiment and that he may have been a William R. Pemberton, ASN:38010979; born in 1910 in Kentucky. Living in New Mexico, where he enlisted in Santa Fe, February 8, 1941.
